Architects Table

This classic design recalls timbered roof trusses used for centuries in European churches and elsewhere. Exposed beams are connected using traditional mortise and Tenon joints, forming variations of triangles that give the rigidity necessary to support heavy roof structures extended over large spans. The marriage of form and function, dramatically illustrated here, strikes a primal chord which resonates with our fundamental aesthetic sensibilities. The flexibility of its design means the table can easily be customized to suit a wide variety of applications.
